Run #9 – Big Buddha

cropped-slhlogo2.jpgRUN 9 – May 3rd, 2014
LOCATION: Ngong Ping

Some go to Ngong Ping to pray; some to drink tea and meditate; some to just take pictures of the largest outdoor something-something seated bronze Buddha. Others go to pole dance.

A fantastically beautiful run was set in the verdant mountains surrounding Ngong Ping and the Big Buddha. An excellent turnout with a few virgins in attendance, most of whom ended up doing the Rambo Route and coming back sweaty and happy. The trail went through monasteries and temples, under the cable car, through tiny villages, and back again.

One very strong daddy and a tiny little basher made their way through the bush unscathed. And a small amount of plastic was accidentally eaten by a curious cow looking for a snack.

On On in June!
