Run #7 – Mui Wo

Despite one of the hares being deathly hungover from the previous night’s events, a well laid out trail was set with a theme: along the watchtowers. The run took hashers to the three ruins of the watchtowers of Mui Wo – one by River Silver, one in Luk Tei Tong, and one on the very top of Butterfly Hill, with a fantastic view of the beach below. Only the rough and tough rambos were able to see all three, as the climb up Butterfly Hill had only recently been opened up, and a rope had to be strung to help people get up the steepest parts.  All in all a good turn out with a surprising number of kids in attendance, which meant more beer for the runners.
