Run #6 – Tung Chung Fort

HARES – SLOG and  SWING LOW
LOCATION: TUNG CHUNG FORT

An excellent location to start a hash with a nice little climb on top of the fort walls to get warmed up before heading off on a run which took us through Sheung Ling Pei, across the road behind the YMCA School, and deep into the back side of Shek Lau Po.

The farmers did not look too impressed when a group of sweaty gweilos came running through the bush and into their gardens, but after being chased away with rakes and hoes we then dodged dodgy village dogs for a bit on the narrow paths that wind their way through the rivers and marshes.

A good turnout considering the cold weather, and everyone warmed up nicely with some hot spicy curries at one of the nearby restaurants by the fort.
